Mission

Susan Rothenberg Foundation is a private operating foundation that received its 501(c)(3) status in 2022. The primary aim of the foundation is to promote, amplify and expand awareness of the art and life of the painter Susan Rothenberg.

The Foundation maintains a core collection of paintings, drawings, prints and sculpture that are available for loans to exhibitions. The Foundation library, archive and viewing room are open by appointment for research by scholars and curators. This website together with shows, books and the preparation of a Catalogue Raisonne will fulfill the mission.

The Susan Rothenberg Foundation does not issue grants, authenticate works of art or conduct appraisals.
